Launched in 2019 during E3 in Los Angeles, Opera GX is the world’s first browser designed for gamers. This newest integration lets you level-up your browsing experience by adding a programmable blast of colors and animations, to make using the web more engaging than ever. The effects you create dynamically respond every time you open a tab, receive a message or download a file using Opera GX. Those of you using both Opera GX and Logitech G gaming gear with LIGHTSYNC RGB, can now unleash an explosion of color by creating custom lighting effects and animations. Now get ready to transform your browsing into a full-spectrum lighting experience with over 16.8 million colors. We’ve just integrated Logitech G’s popular lighting technology, LIGHTSYNC RGB, into Opera GX. We have some great news for all the Logitech G fans. The Media pack feature install in theory should install these, I am not sure why that does not work in some cases.Create customizable lighting effects and animations to bring your gaming set-up to life in full polychromatic beauty when browsing with Opera GX I suspect this issue stems from the PRO N version of windows 10 not having these DLLs by default. I am not a windows expert by any means so im sure this process could be improved. Register the DLL files in windows with an admin mode command prompt window. using the the command "regsvr32 " in the case of these 2 DLLs the commands would be "regsvr32 mfplat.dll" and "regsvr32 mfreadwrite.dll" Put the extracted DLL file into your system32 folder under C:\Windows\System32 I could not resolve our issue with any KB updates I found) (I use, I realize this is sketchy, if anyone knows of a way to fix this with a MS KB update please reply. You may find that you get an error for missing DLL files. (in our case mfplat.dll and mfreadwrite.dll)ĭownload the missing files from a DLL site. Restart the LGHUB processes in this order: Locate your LGHUB exe files at "C:\Program Files\LGHUB" Stop the Ghub processes in the process tab in task manager so we can work on them: I originally followed this article but we found missing DLL files. I fixed this issue for a buddy and I thought I would make an account and do a bit of a writeup.
